In this specific project two trades were required. Indeed, the architectural technologist responsible for the project had to work together with our structural engineer so that all the ratings corresponding to the loads were certified and verified. The client from Abitibi wanted to add an additional room to save space and allow her to make a more spacious entrance, store stock and other belongings. The structural engineer 's job was to indicate that a steel beam had to be present during the construction of this structure so that it would persist over time in view of the different loads.
